Participate Community
Support to get out, stay connected and be part of your local community.
What is
Community Participation?
Community Participation support is all about helping you take part in everyday life outside the home.
A support worker can accompany you to places and activities that matter to you, offering practical help, encouragement and safety along the way.
This might involve:
Going to appointments, shopping or the bank
Visiting family and friends
Joining clubs, groups or classes
Enjoying social, recreational or cultural activities
Ways we can support you
Every person’s week looks different. Depending on your goals and NDIS plan, we can help with things like:
Appointments & errands – GP visits, specialist appointments, pharmacy, banking and post office
Shopping trips – grocery shopping, buying clothes, choosing household items
Social activities – cafes, movies, local events, sports, visiting friends and family
Hobbies & interests – art classes, community groups, gyms, libraries or faith-based activities
Learning to get around – building confidence with public transport, routes and travel routines
We’ll plan supports that feel achievable and meaningful for you.
